Our goal is to make sure that all of your visits with us will be friendly and informative. Your initial exam appointment with our certified orthodontists Dr. Kelly Heetland or Dr. Shawna Heetland will consist of a dental and facial records, and a clinical examination. Their time will be offered to understand your concerns and the orthodontic needs of you or your child. This will permit a discussion of potential treatment options, treatment time, goals, and costs.
Panoramic x-ray, Cephlametric x-ray (lateral skull), photographs of the face and teeth, and mounted study models of the teeth are made. All three of our orthodontists use these records together to complete your diagnosis and custom treatment plan for each patient to be explained at the treatment consultation appointment. These items also help tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth and jaws move under orthodontic care.
